Here are some tips for searching our collections:
Species keyword: In this field enter mineral names (quartz, malachite, etc.), rock names (granite, limestone etc), variety names (sapphire, emerald, etc), or other common names (agate, jade, pearl, diamond ring, etc)
Locality keyword: If you are searching for material from a particular place enter the place name here (“Kelly mine” etc.) If you enter multiple search terms such as Smith mine California results will contain all terms (Smith and mine and California)
