Map of Collection Room Specimen Ranges

This is a map of our on-site collection storage facility in the east wing basement which we share with Polychaetes. The collection room houses wet-preserved specimens which will be distributed to our four curatorial sections: Crustacea, Echinoderms, Polychaetes, and Mollusks. Wet-preserved invertebrates not belonging to one of these four groups are permanently stored here. Most material is stored together as collections until sorted and identified. Sorted invertebrate specimens are organized taxonomically.
