- An outstanding early collection of Pleistocene fossils made by Homer C. White and son, Homer L. White, from outcrops in the vicinity of Baldwin Hills and coastal areas near Playa del Rey, Los Angeles County, California. Most of the collecting localities are no longer accessible.

- Homer White was a contemporary of Meals, Maxell, White, and Draper and may have collected with some of them.
