This Perl code supports the transfer of data from offline desktop databases to online-accessible SQL databases. It's how we move collections data from our Filemaker databases to the web databases. This code was described in an article in
the October 2002 issue of
Sys Admin: The versions beginning Db- reflect a reoganization of the module structure. It's now underneath the toplevel "Db::", and the old "Update.pm" module is now "Db::CSV2db". The other modules are now "Db::CSV2db::Util", "Db::CSV2db::Mac", and "Db::CSV2db::Filemaker". Hence preexisting configuration files or CGI programs will need module name adjustments. |
